The 2018 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to take place in Lisbon, Portugal on May 8, 10 and 12! Portugal is hosting the competition for the first time after their victory in Kyiv, with Salvador Sobral's participation with the song Amar Pelos Dois.
TP, the Portuguese national broadcaster has announced the opening and interval acts who will grace the stage at the forthcoming 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon.
Sobral strikes back!
RTP has unveiled one of the biggest secrets surrounding the Grand Final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, Salvador Sobral the 2017 Portuguese Eurovision winner will be back in action and will treat fans near and far with his iconic winning Eurovsion entry Amar pelos dois and new songs from his upcoming album.
Fado queens join forces
For the first time ever, the two internationally acclaimed Fado singers Ana Moura and Mariza will join forces and come together on the stage, in what promises to be a unique moment in the history of Portuguese music. Both starts will share the stage during the opening segment of the Grand Final on 12 May.
The Flag Parade
The traditional Eurovision flag parade will be made be soundtracked by the Beatbombers (world champion scratch artists).
A Lusitan journey around the world
DJ Branko will also be gracing the Grand Final, he’ll take us on a global electronic music trip around the world showcasing the Lusitan musical rythms of Cape Verde, Angola, Portugal and Brazil.The 2018 Eurovison Song Contest on 8, 10, 12 May at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.
